Fatima is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario and is authorized to provide family law services through the Legal Aid Ontario – Family Law Roster, having met its applicable experience and professional requirements.

Since her call to the Ontario Bar, Fatima has represented clients in hundreds of family law matters before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. Her practice includes parenting arrangements, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, property division and equalization, separation, divorce, and other complex family law disputes. She regularly appears at conferences, motions, and other court proceedings, while also helping clients resolve disputes through negotiation and mediation. Her practical, strategic approach focuses on achieving timely, cost-effective resolutions whenever possible.

Recognized for her thoughtful and strategic advocacy, Fatima takes the time to understand each client’s priorities and tailor a legal strategy that reflects their goals. She provides straightforward advice, realistic expectations, and steadfast representation throughout every stage of the process. Before immigrating to Canada, Fatima practised law in the Philippines for more than twelve years and remains a member in good standing of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. She also represented the Philippines before international organizations and forums across Europe, Asia, and South America.

Fatima holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Maritime Law and Policy from the World Maritime University in Sweden, a specialized agency of the United Nations, where she studied as a Sasakawa Peace Foundation scholar. She also earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Santo Tomas and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman.

Having personally experienced the challenges of immigration and divorce, Fatima combines strategic legal advocacy with genuine empathy. Fluent in English and Tagalog (Filipino), she is committed to providing practical guidance and compassionate representation to individuals and families navigating difficult life transitions.

CZARINA MAE DE JESUS

Czarina is a Licensed Paralegal and Partner at AJ Law LLP with nearly a decade of experience representing clients before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and the Provincial Offences Court. She is known for her strategic advocacy, meticulous preparation, and practical, client-focused approach to resolving legal disputes.

Her practice includes landlord and tenant matters, provincial offences, small claims, and other proceedings within a paralegal’s authorized scope of practice. Drawing on extensive courtroom and tribunal experience, Czarina provides clear advice, effective advocacy, and practical legal solutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Czarina earned her Paralegal diploma from Seneca College and was called to the Law Society of Ontario after successfully completing the Paralegal Licensing Examination. Early in her career, she gained experience by joining a multidisciplinary Ontario law firm, where she worked on matters involving criminal law, civil litigation, family law, immigration, real estate, estates, and wills. This broad legal background enables her to approach every file with sound judgment and a well-rounded understanding of the legal system.

Committed to providing cost efficient advocacy to AJ Law’s clients, Czarina is currently undertaking the Family Legal Services Provider Program for Licensed Paralegals. Admission to this specialized Law Society of Ontario program is limited to paralegals who meet rigorous eligibility requirements, including being in good standing, satisfying prescribed practice experience requirements, maintaining professional liability insurance, and successfully completing advanced family law education and competency assessments. Upon completion, she will be authorized to provide an expanded scope of family law services permitted by the Law Society of Ontario.

Fluent in English, Tagalog, and Ilocano, Czarina proudly serves clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She is committed to delivering responsive service, practical guidance, and dedicated advocacy with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.

RODRIGO JUN HERNANDEZ, JD

Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant

Jun is a member in good standing with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). He has been in practice for more than ten (10) years. Aside from being experienced in appearing before courts and administrative tribunals in the areas of detention review, removal, appeals, and judicial review, he is also a freelance court interpreter accredited by the Ministry of the Attorney General in Ontario.

Jun is a member of the Faculty of Law at Anderson College, teaching subjects such as Administrative Law, Canadian Immigration Law and Policy, and Refugee Law. He has mentored students who successfully passed their licensing exams and are now practicing Immigration Consultants themselves. In the past, Jun has also worked as a corporate lawyer and secretary for private and publicly listed companies in a wide variety of industries, acting as an advisor to the board in terms of compliance with regulatory bodies.

Jun graduated with honors from his Immigration Consultant Diploma from Humber College, holds a Bachelor of Laws (now Juris Doctor) degree from the University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from De La Salle University. Revealing Jun’s consistent desire to help, he volunteers with the Region of Peel, teaching elementary students in the First Language Program. Jun is also a blood donor at the Canadian Blood Services. He believes in fiercely advocating for his Immigration clients with the intense dedication to help bring families together, which is the main objective of AJ Law LLP.

DAISY NICOLAS, RCIC

Daisy is a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship
Consultants (CICC). She has been in practice for more than fifteen (15) years.

Daisy is a Professional and a Licensed Immigration Consultant with extensive experience in
Canadian immigration matters, including but not limited to: Applications for Foreign Workers
with highly skilled and/or skilled trade including Live-in Caregivers, Post-graduate Open Work
Permits, Canadian Experience Class, Provincial Nominee Programs, Family Sponsorships,
Visitor and Study Visas, Extension and Restoration of Visas, Canadian and Philippine Police
Certificates and Permanent Resident Applications. With Daisy’s innate desire of helping clients
achieve their Canadian dream, she uses her knowledge and expertise in transforming the
clients’ dreams of studying, working or living in Canada into reality.

Daisy completed Immigration Consultancy Program at Humber College in Ontario, Canada.
She also graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology in the Philippines.
While practising as a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant, she concurrently operates
and manages a Designated Learning Institution which caters to local Canadians. Having had
the experience of serving clients of diverse origins and of course, her fellow Filipinos, she finds

RONALD ANGELES

Ron is a seasoned IT Professional with diverse industry experience and exceptional background in Project Management, Business Analysis, Applications Development, Graphic Designs, and Digital Marketing.

Like many migrants, Ron has struggled to adapt to Canadian life. To cope with adjusting, Ron decided to take control of his future by taking several courses to better his professional opportunities. With his working knowledge from his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from AMA Computer University in the Philippines, he continued to pursue Occupation-specific Language Training (OSLT) Project Management in Humber College Toronto, Applications Development Diploma (with Distinction) from triOS College Toronto, Digital Marketing in Udacity in California and Graphic Design Diploma (with Distinction) from Shaw Academy in Dublin. As a result of his diligence in continuously improving his craft, Ron has been certified by Google Ads, Google Analytics, and HubSpot Content Marketing & Digital Advertising. Further, he was also awarded Amazon & Nutanix Hybrid Cloud with a Scholarship and bestowed a Superstar Award by Saint Elizabeth Healthcare.

He is also a founder of REON Digital Marketing Company based in Toronto and responsible for all of its sales and operations, including end-to-end management, sales activities, service and support in all REON’s Operations and Marketing.
Known to be a soft-hearted person who puts people first before anything else, Ron has managed to keep his digital marketing achievements low-key. Nevertheless, the AJ Law LLP team truly appreciates his contribution and looks forward to the firm’s growth with Ron at the helm by efficiently serving our clientele through digital means.

SALVE MINDANAO

Salve is in her final year studying for a Bachelor of Social Science Degree in Criminal Justice at Humber College in Etobicoke, Ontario. She has been on the dean’s list the entire study duration while working full-time. Being embedded in a customer service field honed her soft skills in interacting with clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring they have a good experience while engaging with her. She always wants to help others in the best way she can. As Salve has been with AJ Law for a while now, previous and current AJ Law clients can gladly attest to her adorable traits.

Salve was born in a small town in Laguna, Philippines. Even back home, she was also a consistent honour student studying Bachelor of Arts in History. As a people person, she focused not only on the academic field, but also ventured into several extracurricular activities in her department. With this, she was able to connect with established professionals in different fields and gained experience in dealing with diverse groups and individuals.

Salve likes to hike and be with nature which explains her passion for promoting and supporting awareness of climate change. As her innate desire to help other people is strong, she aims to continue working her way through the field of law after she finishes her degree in Criminal Justice. Salve is the smiling face that you would see upon entry at the AJ Law door, greeting you and offering her friendly service to you, our valued fellow “kababayans.”

Carmen, who is deeply committed to her family and the well-being of her three daughters, has always placed her loved ones at the center of her life. Her strong devotion led her and her family to leave their comfortable life in the Philippines and start anew in Canada. Growing up in Nueva Ecija as the fourth of six siblings, Carmen exhibited her entrepreneurial flair at a young age by establishing her own business. This early venture not only cultivated her patience in dealing with people but also provided her with a wealth of diverse life experiences.

After earning a degree in banking and finance, Carmen began her career as a croupier with Star Cruises, taking her to Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, Cambodia and Macao before spending 12 enriching years at Resorts World Manila in the Philippines as a Team Supervisor. During this time, she fully embraced the philosophy of making the most of life’s opportunities. She developed an unwavering commitment to integrity, inspired by the company’s emphasis on “Passion for People.” Her exposure to different cultures honed her adaptability and resilience, equipping her with valuable skills for navigating diverse environments.

GRACE INOCENCIO

Grace is an experienced administrative professional with experience in legal and office administration. She is recognized for her professionalism, integrity, and strong attention to detail, qualities that consistently guide her work.

Originally from the Philippines, Grace relocated to Canada with her family in pursuit of professional growth and long-term opportunities. She holds a degree in Computer Science and has built a diverse career across the therapy, manufacturing, and retail sectors. During her tenure at Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc., she advanced to the role of Senior Retail Business Administrative Assistant, where she supported operational planning and managed the preparation, monitoring, and renewal of lease agreements for multiple business units.

In Canada, Grace completed the Office Administration – Legal program with high honours and joined AJLaw, first as an intern and later as a valued member of the firm. She is known for her client-focused approach, strong organizational skills, and commitment to delivering efficient, reliable, and thoughtful administrative support.
